Live Music: Mikky Ekko

On February 8th I was lucky enough to see Mikky Ekko live for the first time. Having been a fan of his older music, it was very cool to see how he's grown musically and how amazing his stage presence is. Ekko made sure to create a close environment in the 3,500 capacity theater, constantly interacting with fans. At one point he took a fans phone and filmed from the stage; another he jumped into the crowd and danced with the fans. He even climbed into the seated area at one point and jammed out with those who weren't lucky enough to land a spot in the standing room area. Mikky Ekko is a captivating performer with not only strong music, but a strong presence. You don't want to miss him live.
